Gary Sinise visits Wounded Warriors at Charlie Norwood VA

 

Actor Gary Sinise visited Wounded Warriors at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center (CNVAMC) Thursday, April 21,  during his tour in Augusta. Sponsored by the CSRA Wounded Warrior Care Project, Sinise met and said thank you to active duty personnel on the Active Duty Rehabilitation Unit over lunch, offered photograph opportunities, toured the facility and conducted media interviews, before heading to Fort Gordon to visit with other local Soldiers. 

 

Sinise stars in "CSI: New York," and played the character, Lt. Dan Taylor, a war Veteran amputee in the movie "Forrest Gump."
