VA seeks Vietnam Veterans to honor at quarterly ceremony

January 4, 2017

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The Charlie Norwood VA Medical center is looking for Vietnam Veterans to participate in a ceremony set for February 2017.

During the February ceremony honoring Vietnam Veterans and their families, the medical center will spotlight 50 Vietnam Veterans who volunteer for this opportunity.

Veterans who served from Nov. 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975, are eligible.
 
Veterans not able to participate in the February event will be placed on a list for a future, bi-annual Vietnam Veteran spotlight event, which will be happening now into the foreseeable future.

Those who are eligible to participate should provide a copy of their DD-214s by January 13, 2017.
