October VA ceremony seeks to spotlight Vietnam Vets

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Charlie Norwood VA Medical center in Augusta, Ga., is seeking Vietnam Veterans to participate in a ceremony tentatively scheduled for October.

During the ceremony – conducting jointly with the Georgia Department of Veterans Service -- the medical center seeks to spotlight 50 Vietnam Veterans. Veterans who served from Nov. 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975, are eligible. Veterans not able to participate in the October event will be placed on a list for a future, Vietnam Veteran spotlight event which occurs biannually and will continue until 2025.
