August 31, 2016

Congraulations to Dennis Preston, who competed in the National Veterans Golden Age Games in Detroit. The games, held in July and open to Veterans aged 55 and older (and receive health care from the VA), are the premiere senior adaptive rehabilitation program in the United States and the only national multi-event sports and recreational seniors compteition program designed to improve the quality of life for all older Veterans. Preston competed in four events -- nine ball, bowling, shuffleboard and horseshoes -- and won two silver medals. Congrats, sir! (Photo by Chris Harper/VA)
