VA seeks 2 for spinal cord injury unit at hiring event June 23

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center is seeking a licensed practical nurse and health technician for its Spinal Cord Injury Unit and invites applicants to a hiring event.

The event runs from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, June 23 at the Spinal Cord Injury Unit day room (1H). The day room is located near the cafeteria. Applicants are asked to follow the signs set up for the event. The Spinal Cord Injury Unit is located at the Downtown campus, 950 15th Street, Augusta, GA.

VA established the Spinal Cord Injury Unit at Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center was in 1981 and with 71 beds. It is one of the largest centers in the VA System and serves as a hub for spinal cord injury patients across the southeast.  The SCIU houses a variety of resources to ensure timely access to care, quality treatment and outstanding services for Veteran and active duty patients. The unit is CARF Accredited.
