Snow Flake Tree Annual Event

Helping hands of elves and volunteers deliver smiles and comfort.

The Snow Flake Tree is a special project sponsored by Voluntary Services. It has brought joy and smiles to the faces of our hospitalized Veterans.

Wednesday, December 22, 2010

The snow has fallen, gently blanketing both divisions of the VA hospital.  Thanks to all the caring elves that work and volunteer at the medical center, over 400 Veterans received special gifts from the Snow Flake Tree.  This annual event could not be possible without this overwhelming support. Our Veterans have been wrapped with much love and warmth this season and most of all, they know that they are not forgotten.

The Snow Flake Tree is a special project sponsored Voluntary Services each Christmas and has brought joy and smiles to the faces of our hospitalized Veterans for the past several years.  To find out other ways you can help during the Holiday Season or throughout the year, contact Kim Hoge, Chief Voluntary Services, (706) 823-3020.
