VA honors 53 Vietnam Vets Feb. 14

AUGUSTA, Ga. Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center will honor 53 Vietnam veterans in a ceremony at 10 a.m., Feb. 14, in the Uptown Division auditorium at 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, GA, 30904.

This commemoration ceremony will honor and recognize Vietnam Veterans by presenting them with a Certificate of Honor issued by the Georgia Department of Veterans Service to publicly thank the Veterans for their service to our Nation.  The Ceremony will be supported by medical center leadership.

VA Augusta is a Commemorative Partner of the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration. This effort is to help a grateful nation thank and honor America’s Vietnam Veterans and their families for service, valor and sacrifice as part of the Vietnam War 50th Anniversary.
